“Where is Abel, your brother?” asked the Lord.
“I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” replied Cain.
Who is CAINO?
CAINO was born in the late 1980s in a small town in Umbria, where creativity flourishes among books and pencils. From a young age, drawing became his refuge, but life led him elsewhere. He graduated with top marks from a technical institute and soon began working, sacrificing his artistic nature for stability.
Yet, his passion for cinema sparked a deep love for storytelling through images. In 2019, he left his job and began traveling, uncovering forgotten realities and stories that deserved to be told. Then, a dramatic event—a stroke and heart surgery—taught him the true value of time.
From that moment on, photography became his language. His gaze now focuses on marginalized faces, the scars of life, and stories that challenge silence.
So, who is CAINO?
CAINO is all of us when we choose indifference. But CAINO is also a voice that tells the world through images, because while art cannot change the past, it can illuminate the present and shape the future.
